About Martin Hull

Born in London, lived in Australia for a short time, had thirty jobs by the time I was thirty five. First started to think that I could be a writer at school thanks to the encouragement of my English teacher Mr Plummer. I tried off and on over the years to write something publishable but as is so often the case I had to spend more time earning a living. Almost accidently drifted into IT, eventually becoming IT Director of a multi-national company then starting my own IT support company. Eventually I came to realise that I wasn’t really interested in IT so closed my company and started writing. All my books have been published on Amazon KDP, self published or as it is now known “indie”. The first book was a re-write of a story I wrote about thirty five years ago for my niece who was 5 years old and it was called Starlight Princess, a story about magic and adventure in the Starlight Kingdom. Shortly after my second niece was born I wrote Space Angel, another book of magic and adventure. I now have five children’s fantasy adventure books published on Amazon plus an adult book of humour (Manimals), an adult fantasy adventure called Devine Enquiries plus the sequel Devine Enquiries 2. I’m currently working on Devine Enquiries 3 and a possible Manimals 2. I’ve been married for twenty six years, have a large, daft dog called Sunny and we all live in Surrey.
